and Rent Protection*
If
your home suffers a loss and you have to live
elsewhere, the additional expenses associated
with maintaining your primary residence as well
as the expenses associated with maintaining temporary
shelter may be unbearable. Home Owner and Rent
Protection Benefits, will help to ensure that
you and your family will have adequate shelter.
Benefits include:
Home Owner Deductible Reimbursement -
Up to $1,000*
Covers up to $1,000 of your homeowner’s or renter’s
insurance deductible for your primary residence,
when there is property damage resulting in a covered
claim, and the amount paid by your insurance company
exceeds the deductible limit.
Emergency Cash - Up to $1,000*
Covers up to $1,000 when a loss covered by your
homeowner’s or renter’s insurance company renders
your primary residence uninhabitable or there
is a mandatory evacuation by a public service
officer or the National Weather Service.
Rent or Mortgage Reimbursement
- Up to $1,000*
Covers up to $1,000 a month for up to 6 months
for Rent or Mortgage expenses
incurred for the days that your homeowner’s insurance
or renter’s insurance company deems your primary
residence uninhabitable for at least 5 consecutive
days.
Emergency Lodging Coverage
Expenses - Up to $1,000*
Covers up to $100 per day for up to 10 days when
a loss covered by your homeowner’s insurance or
renter’s insurance company renders your primary
residence uninhabitable or there is a mandatory
evacuation by a public service officer or the
National Weather Service.
